SQL Server DBA contract - Ireland
Long term contract opportunity for 12 months and more to dive the complete upgrade of SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2008. This role will involve building out the data infrastructure, improving data quality, performance tuning, configuration etc.
This contract suits an experienced SQL Server DBA who is seeking a long term contract role and is interested in taking a project from initiation through to completion.
This contract is based in Waterford.
Role/opportunity:
- SQL Server Database Administration
- Upgrade project from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2008

Skills/experience:
- 5+ years relevant commercial experience
- Strong SQL Server experience with both 2008 and 2008
- Experience of building data infrastructure, performance tuning
- Ability to drive database projects
Rate:
- EUR per day depending on experience
- 12 month contract initially
- Waterford based position
