Overview:
Our client, a major UK retail bank, requires the services of a Senior Business Analyst, who has experience within retail banking. You will be required to have experience of working as a Business Analyst with The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is US legislation passed in 2010 to reduce tax evasion by US tax payers. FATCA is mandatory and GEC have agreed that the Group will be compliant. Failure to comply with FATCA would result in reputational damage to the Group as well as financial impact to the organisation and our customers. This paper provides an update on the challenges posed by FATCA and measured approach taken by the programme to ensure compliance.
Core duties of the role:
- Senior Business Analyst reporting to the Programme Manager:
- Perform analysis on existing processes
- Identify and document options for business change to remediate current issues
- Work alongside the Programme Manager to gain stakeholder acceptance of proposed changes
- Produce impact assessment to operations teams
- Map and document all interdependencies
- Conduct gap analysis & risk assessments
- Identify & engage key stakeholders/project leads
- Experience in Process Design
Core skills and experience required:
To qualify, you'll need experience working with third party suppliers and managing stakeholders, backed up by an APM or similar methodology.
