We are looking for an outstanding System Architect who will participate as an active team member on projects working with the Product Owners and ScrumMasters in the completion of product development tasks. The candidate will collaborate with all Scrum teammates on design and development tasks. They must also be able to provide technical leadership in the architecting and development of advanced solutions for large web-based Internet enterprise software products that complement currently deployed products.
Must be proficient in identifying, defining, and driving compliance of industry best practices, standards, conventions, and methodologies specifically relevant to deliver projects that are of high quality and high value to ASI and its customers. Must know, follow, and apply agile software development techniques, methodologies, and processes. Responsible for contributing, receiving, and acting upon constructive feedback for continuous process, product, and self-improvement.
Proficiency in performing advanced system-level analysis for complex client applications; including information needs analysis and architectural design specification is a must have skill for this position. The ability to provide technical expertise to enhance overall product performance, usability, aesthetics, and consistent pattern compliance is required. The incumbent will conduct code reviews and perform component, visual, functional, and automated testing. Will also work with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve customer issues as required.
Requirements include:
- 8-10 years of experience developing integrated suite of full featured applications including user interfaces, database access, Client Server, or networked web components
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience in the creation of n-tier applications using Microsoft tools and technologies: C#, .NET, IIS, IE, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, ActiveX, AJAX, SQL Server , SQL Server Reporting Services, and Visual Studio 2010.
- Solid OOA/OOD software engineering background and expertise, with proven applied experience in the implementation and testing of high quality software
- Superior time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Solid interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills, must have a proven ability to evangelize technology solutions, goals, and visions
- Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from a recognized 4-year university, preferably in Computer Science or Information Science
