Outline Job Profile
Set up and instrumentation of flight hardware for vibration testing
Operation of test facility control systems
Maintaining test records and manipulating test data using PC based software
Close working relationship with colleagues and internal/external customers required
Interpreting test requirements from written procedures and international standards
Qualifications and/or skills
Essential - HNC in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or an engineering apprenticeship
Desirable - PC skills using Microsoft office, as well as Real Time data capture an advantage, instrumentation and calibration.
Previous experience
Must have experience of instrumentation, data reduction, setting up and running vibration tests with minimal supervision
Must have previous Vibration testing experience
Desirable - Previous experience to vibration testing of aerospace equipments.
