We are currently seeking a Web Developer for an exciting contract opportunity to join a global giant based in Sydney. This current opportunity will be best suited to web developer who is highly passionate and who has had previous experience working within a large media company/online company
Role Requirements:
This opportunity will involve developing and coding new programs and make modifications to existing applications. Duties also will include specification writing, analysis and implementation of new systems and modifications to existing systems, including unit and system testing. This role will require you to look at the impossible and feed it as challenge to success. This role will require new technologies that you may not have used before but will require a can do attitude.
Skill's required
- Polished written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think conceptually and understand and translate 'big picture' concepts
- Takes a high interest in Web Development, with strong opinions about trends and current technologies.
- Recent experience working with HTML5 + CSS3.
- PSD 2 HTML
- JavaScript + jQuery.
- A solid knowledge of PHP5, MVC framework (eg: CodeIgniter, YII, Zend etc)
- Comfortable with SQL & MySQL
- Experience with Facebook SDK/API desired.
- Experience with Git ideal.
- Eager to learn and grow their skill-set. Four-year degree and/or relevant education and experience
- Minimum of two years work experience as an web Developer
- Experience with web/application development technologies
- Experience with Web design, Messaging and Collaboration systems is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with report writing, Windows OS functionality, file systems and structures, email, independent research and Internet usage
- Ability to think conceptually and understand and translate 'big picture' concepts
