BI Consultant - MicroStrategy - Long Term Contract Opportunity - Great Midtown Atlanta Location!

Our client is a global leader in the Retail and Fashion industry consistently voted top 10 places to work in Georgia and is working on a major conversion project. This resource will handle Buiness Analysis and then Design and Development of Reports in Netezza and MicroStrategy.
This is a long term 9 months + contract position which will take you well into 2013. During Phase 1, you will work as a business analysis role then move into development and design. The key to your success is having a proven track record developing MicroStratey reports as well as rationalizing and categorizing reports in a large, enterprise environment. Must have excellent communication skills are you will be working with various business units to rationalize and categorize - and then consolidate and convert more than 1000 Oracle Reports to MicroStrategy and Netezza.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements, and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues. Document functional business requirement and interpret into system designs
- Manages and executes projects related to systems supported
- Rationalize and categorize several hundred reports in Legacy Oracle system and handle design development of reports to Netezza/Microstrategy
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of Microstrategy experience developing documents
- 3-5+ years of SQL
- Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, documentation)
- 2 to 4 years of Business/Systems Analysis experience.
- Extensive experience gathering reports requirements
- Proven experience rationalizing and categorizing reports
- Report conversion with Oracle and Netezza preferred
