Calling all Credit (control) Account Managers - Bradford, Birmingham and Preston!

This role is working for one of the biggest, well known brands in the Country and beyond! Based in Hook - this part of the brand specialises in mobiles, TV and broadband services nationwide.

To manage and develop internal and external relationships and customer expectations to ensure prompt collection of cash against billed revenue for the top customers. To deliver a high quality service to the business' customers ensuring constant improvement against customer satisfaction measures.

Duties will include:
Account Management - Working closely with Sales to develop a relationship, which engenders trust and collaboration towards sales and collection's goals.
Service Management - Work closely with service management to understand customer issues, and help mitigate any potential problems
Senior management across the Business Division - liaise as necessary to keep management informed of issues and resolution progress.
Internal Operational Departments - work closely to maintain and improve service levels, resolve issues.
External Customers - Liaise daily with assigned customers to ensure the customer has everything they need to keep their payments up to date.
Billing Account Managers - Develop an excellent relationship with your BAM to ensure consistency of approach to the rest of the business, and our customers.
Manage an assigned customer base from the top customer's in relation to all collections activity.
Build relationships with other operational departments and key internal stakeholders
Forge excellent relationships at all levels within the customer's organisation.
Leverage your relationships to drive cash flow, age debt reduction, and NPS score in line with KPI's
Drive resolutions to customer problems by engaging and gaining buy in from relevant departments
Attend monthly sales meetings to give updates on collections activity. And gain an understanding of our sales strategy.
Continuously improve the customer experience by suggesting improvements to current processes and practice.
Attend internal and external customer meetings
Take ownership of all collections related issues, and ensure they are resolved within agreed timescales.
To deliver robust weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting and shortfall analysis
Experience required
Previous track record in credit control and account management

Effective relationship management that builds credibility with our internal and external customers
Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
Pragmatic approach to problems, with the ability to make difficult decisions.
Ability to develop cognitive ideas when looking to improve the collections function, and also have to ability to communicate these ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to be self motivated and resilient in a challenging and pressurised environment
Team player with the ability to motivate and encourage people around you
Excellent computer skills, with a good knowledge of spreadsheet packages and MS word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
