Network Engineer
Our client is a large Telecommunications Company looking to recruit a Network Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative team. This is a contract role based in Dublin.
Candidate responsibilities:
- To perform software build tasks
- To perform activities on multiple vendor CPE.
This involves:
- Putting together bundles of equipment
- Card/SFP infill in CPE
- Application of IOS to CPE
- Application of configuration templates to CPE
- Abilities to open TAC cases and RMA damaged or faulty vendor equipment through the correct channels and systems.
Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of CISCO
- CCNA or CCNP certified
- Experience in configuration and testing Routers
- Knowledge of WAN/LAN
- Knowledge of BGP/IGRP/OSPF/MPLS
