Marketing/Communications Manager - Banking - Campaign Manager - Analyst

A leading Retail Bank based in London is seeking a Marketing Manager/Analyst to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation. This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.

The purpose of the project is to meet FSA compliance by ensuring advice charges are clearly presented to the customers and charged separately to other charges.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with Customer Effectiveness to appraise the performance of allocated campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Customer Insights team to maintain a comprehensive market/consumer knowledge, and ensure all communications are grounded in genuine customer insight.
  • Work with third party agencies and suppliers to deliver cost effective, on brand/brief advertising to agreed business and brand objectives.
  • Work with the Delivery Manager to ensure appropriate management of campaign budgets, ensuring delivery of campaigns within budget and take steps to improve cost efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain detailed brand and product knowledge, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory policy.
  • Implement agreed processes to ensure that all communications developed are compliant with the relevant codes and regulations.
  • Support other key stakeholder relationships to deliver campaigns.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills both internally and externally
  • Effective decision maker.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to understand complex data and the initiative to use this to drive performance improvement of programmes
  • Proven creative judgment essential, with the ability to direct and manage agencies.
  • Strong self organisation and prioritisation, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.
  • A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks within the financial services industry desirable.
  • A degree (or equivalent) in business management/marketing and professional qualification is highly desirable.
  • As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
