Description
My client is a large bank in Edinburgh looking for a management reporting accountant to work within the bank. This an opportunity for an accountant with financial services experience to work in a role that will comprise of both BAU (70%) and Continuous improvement work (30%).
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Provide support to the production of the management reporting accounts and supporting analysis.
- Production of monthly management accounts results
- Data management
- Assist in production of budget and 5 year plan
- Involvement in data development and continuous improvement work
- Provision of BAU reports to key customers
- Handling of ad-hoc queries
- Good IT Skills eg must be fully competent working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Hyperion Essbase experience desirable but not essential
- Preferably part qualified accountant eg CIMA, ACCA etc
