Description
Experienced Commercial Manager to work on a portfolio of maintenance and improvement schemes up to £10m in value including target price negotiation, change management and final accounting.
This role will involve providing advice on commercial issues, construction economics and cost intelligence to business partners in Network Development and Delivery.
Skills require - Degree in quality surveying/engineering/construction related discipline or equivalent experience. A quantity surveyor or experienced construction professional with a strong emphasis on commercial management, strong track record of delivering results within tight time scales. Experience of working with Engineering Construction Contracts for construction and maintenance is essential. .
Essential Skills/Knowledge - assessing/validating target prices, compensation events and applications for payment/final accounts in accordance with Engineering Construction Contract operating principles.
