Our Client, a major Federal Government Department, is seeking Developer Senior-Infrastructure Joins them to work on:
The work includes:
Development of new applications, support and maintain existing Microsoft and departmental applications strictly in accordance with departmental change control procedures.
Assist with management infrastructure Scripting, including providing application development and Scripting support to project.
Develop and maintain administration tools for ICT Client environments.
Participate in resolver groups as part of the problem resolution process.
Ensure that the tasks and progressive action history are duly recorded and concluded to the Client's satisfaction.
Participate fully in the project management process and Endeavour to achieve Client outcomes in the most effective way.
Maintain data and office security and system integrity in accordance with Departmental Security Instructions.
In conjunction with SOE managers, prioritize, analyze and complete tasks according to the
Nature and urgency of the request.
As required, provide advice for ongoing maintenance of the Client ICT infrastructure, in accordance with best practice guidelines.
Transfer skills and exchange information to other team members, as required.
Write documentation and update existing SOPs and technical documentation
Other duties as directed by Director SDS.
To be considered for the position you will have:
Extensive knowledge and experience developing and supporting the software desktop products.
Extensive Knowledge and experience with .NET/JAVA development, Scripting languages in Microsoft Server 2008,
SQL Scripting, desirable
Highly developed problem diagnostic skills and troubleshooting applications.
.NET
JAVA development,Windows 7 environments.
Scripting languages
SQL Scripting in a Microsoft Server 2008, Windows 7 environments.
