Quality engineer required with our client in Aberdeen, a world leading Oil and Gas Company.

Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting Engineering Quality Leader with:
* Extract & cleansing of performance data from one or many systems (ePIMS, AS400) or sources (Powerpoint, Excel) to enable analysis on business results and identification of trends.
* Identification of key areas of weakness and assist with identification & implementation of corrective & preventative actions.
* Identifying tools, procedures & opportunities to improve: engineering deliverable quality & first time yield, training, templates, communication and establish quality guidelines
* Assuring internal engineering compliance to design and regulatory requirements (ISO, API and internal audits, and engineering procedures).
* Participating in engineering quality defect and miss investigation and drive rigor in root cause analysis.
* Supporting and coordinating with other organizations to meet overall business objectives

Skills Required
Design and quality experience background. Detail oriented, organized and self-directed. Good knowledge of manufacturing and drawing practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team skills.
PC proficiency with advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools - specifically Microsoft Excel (validation & pivot table creation for ease of data analysis).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Positive can do attitude and the ability to work in an environment with globally diverse teams.
Education & Experience Required

Quality engineer background
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university or college
6 Sigma certification (Green belt minimum)
