Description
Business Analyst required for six month plus contract based in Cavan.
Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits and other appropriate techniques.
Work diplomatically with stakeholders to distinguish business problems and opportunities from perceived solution.
The Business analyst will Analyse, define and manage requirements using appropriate techniques.
Work with Development teams and Product Owners to support development.
Work with Stakeholders and Technical Architects to develop concepts, define value-add solutions and produce business cases.
Skills and Attributes
Knowledge of software development methodologies
Has successfully worked in development environment.
Requirement gathering skills including workshop facilitation.
Experience of requirement analysis, definition and management techniques including UML.
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to define the Business Analysis tasks required to achieve the project objective and to carry them out without supervision or input.
Ability to constructively challenge requests and suggestions to identify the real problem or opportunity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Proven Experience of working with General Insurance Products is essential
Proven Experience of Business Analysis on bespoke Online/E-commerce projects would be beneficial.
