Project Engineer - Belgium
Basic task and objective
The project engineer is the SPOC for the Project Manager regarding the technical aspect of a construction project. Within the Department of Engineering provides the project engineer coherence between the different disciplines (Process, E & I, Piping & CW, Automation). He demonstrates a proactive view of the Engineering construction projects run smoothly.
His/Her activities in addition to purely technical aspects (process design, specifications,
plans, data sheets, special conditions and price execution dockets, collecting and reworking of up-to-date as-built information, ...) also administrative and financial aspects include (authorization to applicable law, drafting and evaluate price quotes, ...). Organize, supervise, control of design contracts regarding gas installations in cooperation with FLX or services with external consulting engineering programs. Purpose: safe, reliable and user equipment in accordance with the design current legislation and applicable standards and standards that meet technical/financial responsibility standards. Reporting Providing a structured and regular reporting to the Engineering Projects Manager.
Competencies and skills:
- Master in Industrial Sciences option Electromechanics.
- Practical experience with the preparation of engineering documents
petrochemical plants
- Knowledge of codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, PED, ATEX, ...)
- Knowledge of process (PFD, P & ID, HAZOP, ...)
- Basic knowledge of standard computer applications like MS Office is supposed.
- Good knowledge of NL/FR/ENG.
- Possess a driving license and a car for occasional business travel
