GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity in Houston, TX for a Document Conversion Specialist. This would be a 12 month Contract to start out. Hours for this position would be 9am to 6pm, and will need to be flexible and prepared to work overtime during peak periods.
DESCRIPTION:
Our Client is looking for a Document Conversion Specialist with a high level of professionalism, strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, good computer skills, and strong organizational skills. Person will be responsible for converting public companies’ financial documents into ASCII, HTML, and XBRL for filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Must be detail oriented and enjoy the challenge of working in a professional environment. High level process analysis experience within financial reporting is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Convert documents using software to HTML
-Houston/New York/Hyderabad work assignment and prioritization
-Manage and respond to client emails and/or phone calls
-Process work orders, print and bind documents
-Continuously look for process improvement opportunities
-Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency
-Provide input and help with testing new software applications as appropriate
-Work on projects as needed
-File documents
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Ability to work the day shift – 9 am - 6 pm
-Bachelors degree in business or other relevant field
-Strong PC skills particularly with Microsoft applications
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to think analytically, define problems and frame solutions
-Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members
-Ability to translate opportunities into clear, concise presentations
-Ability to effectively build relationships
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and special projects
-Typing speed of 40+ wpm
-SEC experience is a plus
-Proven experience working with professional clients, with an approach that includes high levels of professionalism, leadership, and a pronounced service ethic
