Description
The selected candidate for this position will be required to analyze data and partner with team members to develop reports, ensure report accuracy and data integrity.
Additional characteristics and expectations for the candidate for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Creating reports to correspond with customer expected outputs.
- Capable of interpreting ambiguous requirements and translating them into meaningful, value-added reports.
- Identify and resolve issues related to reporting deliverables
- Producing reports from various different applications/data sources
- Experience in creating visually appealing reports for executive leadership and external clients
- Identifying key performance indicators and metrics
- Effectively visualize informational displays
- Ability to create and modify ETL packages utilizing SSIS with inclusion of Event Handlers/Error Handling
- Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software packages/technologies
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent planning, organizing, & time utilization skills
Required:
Proficiency with MS SSRS reports (ideally 2008 R2)
MS SSIS experience
3-5 years of SQL Queries
3-5 years Oracle, MS SQL Database
Desired:
SSRS integration with SharePoint, PowerPivot
Data and report modelling experience with strong history developing service level reports based on performance and availability metrics.
Creation of KPI & graphical reports or dashboards
VB.NET (FW4) programming skills
Business Intelligence planning and development experience a plus
BA/BS degree in a Computer Science/Engineering or related field
