Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop/modify UNIX script for file processing; Develop/modify existed data model to accommodate additional data sources; Develop/modify ETL for data processing from staging to ODS to DM; Modify audit tracking process; Modify error handling; Implement changes to the existing DW processes; Develop project documentation, including Knowledge Transfer documents for support team; Develop operational instructions for deployments; Transfer knowledge to support team with required documentation; Interact with business users during integration and user acceptance testing; Coordinate local system change testing and implementation.
MOST CRITICAL SKILLS NEEDED ARE:
PowerCenter 8.x on Solaris and Oracle 10g; Hands-on experience developing ETL programs using Informatica; PowerMart/PowerCenter 6.x in UNIX and Oracle 9i environment; In depth understanding and development experience using SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX Scripting languages; Proficiency with the Windows NT Server and UNIX (Sun Solaris) operating systems; Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior business and technical IT management; Strong Analytical and problem solving abilities.
