Senior Javascript UI Developer - Contract - Dublin

Description

Working with REST-ful APIs to develop Front End web applications for end-users, this is a JavaScript intensive position* that requires excellent knowledge of the DOM as well as cross browser intricacies. Reporting to the UI Team Lead, this role requires an individual who can work across various team environments and use strong communication skills to interact with the client as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years commercial experience, with core web technologies (HTML, Javascript/DOM, CSS)
• Experience with dealing with structured data formats (arrays, objects) represented using a mark-up language (like XML)
• JavaScript API's experience (Dojo, jQuery, YUI, Prototype, Mootools, ExtJS, etc..)
• Exposure to HTML5, Canvas, JSLint, OO Javascript practices
• Knowledge of web standards principles and practices
• Understand the intricacies and insanities of cross-browser development.
• Ability to work independently from assignment through completion
• An eye for design and layout.
• AJAX

• Familiarity with IntelliJ (or similar IDE)
• Accessibility/usability experience
