Vendor Master Data Team Member
Job Description:
This person will be working on the Vendor Master Team, handling vendor master maintenance requests found in a "queue". He/She will be researching SAP to ensure that the maintenance request is appropriate (Is the vendor already set-up? Is the vendor change request appropriate? Etc.). After research, this person may be submitting vendor maintenance requests through an SAP Portal tool (Regional Workflow), populating a standard online form from information found on an invoice image. Most vendor master updates will be done through the SAP Portal tool; however, there may be instances where updates will be made directly in SAP. He/She may be involved in the W8 and W9 acquisition process as well. Additional administration duties will need to be performed as needed.
Skills:
1. Good analytical, research and communication skills
2. SAP experience preferred, but not necessary
3. Ability to perform as a member of a work team with minimal supervision
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
5. Strong research and analytical skills
6. Attention to detail, following documented procedures
Maintaining or Confirming Vendor Master Data in SAP (directly in SAP or through Regional Workflow tool)
