Description

This position entails full-life cycle recruiting for various professional and union positions. This position will work cross functionally to meet internal customer needs and ensure consistent application of the entire selection process, and related employment law. Will coordinate the recruitment process and will assist with the announcement of positions, the evaluation of job candidates, analyze and document the results of these evaluations, and provide recommendations for selection decisions. This will include: recruit for various position levels, pre-screen applicants, conduct phone and/or in-person behavioral based interviews, assess applicants, determine and prepare recommendations for salary offers.
  • Performs recruitment searches on active Resume databases and develop new recruitment techniques to meet organizational recruitment demands, as well as maintain contact with new recruitment techniques and resources.
  • Interprets and adheres to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Facilitate decision--making process as it pertains to salary approvals and job offers.
  • Ensures all pre & post-employment screening activities are conducted and evaluated properly to ensure we have a quality hire.
  • Creates competency-based interviews. This includes providing interview & assessment feedback to internal applicants.

    A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Human Resources or related field. A minimum of 3 years recruitment and selection experience is required.
  • The following is also required:

  • Exceptional PC skills, Kenexa ATS knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maximize web-based recruiting tools, systems and software.
