Basic Qualifications:

4+ years project management/life cycle service experience

Department Description:
Manages the development of the project management & services quoting portion of the presale process. Coordinates departmental and cross-functional teams, focused on delivering accurate and timely proposals. Ensures that Project Management & Services quotes are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness. May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
The candidates for this role should further be able to demonstrate an excellent ability to coordinate requirements & lead teams across a Matrix organization. Candidates will be required to interface with PM Resource Managers, Sales Manager, Engineering Managers, and Senior Territory Staff to effectively coordinate presale project management & services activity. These individuals will be responsible for quoting project management & life cycle services for inclusion into the master costing Matrix sent to our financial teams.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Minimum of 5 years project management/life cycle services experience.
- Able to demonstrate strong knowledge of project management skills.
(ESI Masters Certificate in Projects management & PMP certification are both good indication of these abilities & are training opportunities that have been provided.)
- Effective skills in project development using project management applications such as MS-Project. This includes a clear understanding of system requirements to create a quality project plan, schedule & budget. (These project plans must be completed in compliance with all system requirements.)
- Ability to effectively analyze a Project P&L and identify improvement solutions.
- Clear communications skills and the ability to effectively motivate teams efficiently to insure quality output while controlling cost.
- Ability to analyze trends and forecast business results.

NOTE: Demonstrated Project Management, Lifecycle Services and/or Engineering experience in Government and Public Safety market.
