Anteo Group has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance/Business Analyst hybrid position in the Cumberland Mall/Cobb Galleria area of Atlanta, GA. As a QA/BA you will play an integral part in enhancing an enterprise-level supply access application for a particular branch of the United States Armed Services. This project is scheduled to initially run between 6 - 9 months per the contract and interviews are looking to start ASAP with start dates being projected between June 28 and July 2, 2012.
The chosen consultant will be expected to work very closely with both the existing team and the customer to understand and define business needs related to testing the software. This position will work closely with the automated test lead and their main role will be translate customer needs into actionable test cases. This position will interact with the customer on a very regular basis mostly via conference call and email with just a small amount of travel at the beginning of the project to get kicked off. The travel can be done by car and all expenses and mileage will be covered.
The main skill our customer is looking for is a strong analytical mind and the ability to dig into questions and topics to understand needs at the lowest level. Admittedly, our customer is very acronym heavy and have some complex applications and business needs. Pulling the information out of them takes some professionalism, analysis and tenacity. Because this work is for a branch of the Federal Government, only candidates with US citizenship will be considered for the role. The current application has approximately 20K users and processes nearly one million transactions per day. The application is rolled out across the country but is supported and maintained in our customer's Atlanta office. The chosen candidate will be working with an experienced (senior) team and be expected to learn quickly and glean information from their teammates and apply it.
