Functie eisen
- Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering or Software Engineering
- Must have Embedded programming affinity with hand on experience on Android/Linux programming techniques
- Prefer 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical support
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development in C, C++, C# using Visual Studio and Java
- Analytical mindset capable of processing information and applying it to a wider context
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) and Mandarin ( Verbal )
- Highly customer focused; willingness and ability to go the extra mile to support customer wishes
- Well-developed intercultural communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Capacity to identify customer's key technical criteria for product choice (good listening skills)
- Solution and Value Proposition oriented, with focus to contribute to business growth
- Analytical, accurate
- Creative, flexible, open minded, ability to work on multiple tasks (customer accounts) at the same time (Good project management skill)
- Works independent, takes initiative
- Flexible to travel to Asia and the US
Werkzaamheden
- Customizes the uWand system to the specific wishes of the customer, in close contact with project management and account management, in order to maximize the performance for each specific customer.
- Drive design-in activity at customer site in close cooperation with customer support, marketing, account managers and business management
- Provide continuous high quality in-field technical support on defined territory and/or accounts and track design-ins toward design-win
- Build and keep close customer relationships by visits, phone and e-mails
- Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demos, reference boards and application manuals
- Develop PC tooling and/or demonstrator applications based on Visual Studio (C/C++)
- Assist customers in adopting uWand on different Embedded platforms ( including Android, Linux and Windows etc)
- Pro-actively communicate product features and benefits on a technical level to customers
- Develop application knowledge and communicate market feedback and (technical) insights in customers future needs to marketing, sales and business management
- Keeps in close contact with the product group, in order to increase/maintain the application knowledge and be timely informed about new developments.
- Participates in the development of new functionality or the development of improved system settings.
