Introduction
The sector EF Manufacturing is responsible both for the production and installation of wafer steppers and scanners. The department Build Operations - The vacuum work center is responsible for qualifying components and (sub) modules. Context of the position The holder of this position reports to the Team Leader Vacuum Work center

Job Description
The vacuum work center uses Residual Gas Analysis (RGA), mobile RGA and leak testers for qualification. The measured Spectra are checked for contamination levels and when passed the module or component is released for production. RGA's are highly sensitive instruments that need constant attention during operation, calibration and maintenance. Leak testers are used to qualify vacuum components and (sub) modules.

The Vacuum Engineer - complex modules are checked for leakages The activities, which will be performed within a New product Introduction environment, consist of:
- RGA/MRGA analysis of components and (sub) modules;
- Vacuum Engineer - Data analysis and chemical analysis;
- Point out recurring problems during analysis in product operation, initiates the issue resolution process and implement solutions with D&E.
- Training on vacuum technician knowledge and training of colleagues on existing and newly introduced products;
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities with technical expertise to reduce cycle time loss and improve qualification techniques;
- Buildup of vacuum competence and knowledge center for operations.

Education
Vacuum Engineer has a HBO/HLO/HBO+, 4 - 8 years of relevant work experience. Pre: Background in chemical analysis, chemistry or physics Pre: background with vacuum systems.

Experience
Vacuum Engineer has 4 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with RGA
- Experience with semiconductor equipment and processes (Thin film)
- Capable of logging the progress of the workflow and the interruptions;
- Experience or proven affinity with troubleshooting is a pre.
