Description
For this contract position with a world renowned computer company, you will be part of a team developing validation components for distributed computing involving audio, video, imaging and cloud technologies.
The candidate will be responsible for developing test tools and validating the software components. She/He should be experienced in development and implementation of test automation and tools for validating various interfaces across each of the components. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and executing the tests that validate the product specifications, document the test results and interact with the developers to ensure a quality product. Responsibilities also include analysing hardware/software requirements, identifying potential problems early in the product life cycle and ensure product quality issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in testing multimedia and imaging products
- Programming experience in C++/C#
- Proficiency in developing scripts, test harnesses, automated test suites
- .NET skills
- Experience with communication protocols and multimedia
- Cloud services experience
- Load testing experience
- Programming in Java and Perl a plus
- Experience testing Android and IOS applications a plus
- Keen understanding of the software engineering and quality assurance process
- Self-motivation, communication and teamwork skills
