Ericsson UMTS 3G Data Translations Engineer
2 year contract in Atlanta, GA.
Ericsson 3G T1 Adds - Perform all duties listed below as a member of a team with national responsibility for the provisioning associated with the growth of the 3G Network.

• Add/Expand IuB links for existing Ericsson Node B equipment in the 3G network.
• Perform specific job tasks including:
• Create, Prepare, Validate & Execute scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B & MSN(Aggregator) &/or make changes via GUI interface.
• Complete Pre & Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc.
• Create/Prepare/Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports.
• Troubleshoot & Operate all 3G Network systems/Components.
• Demonstrates high proficiency - and is able to assist others in resolving complex &/or chronic problems in the 3G Network.
• Act in a leadership role to provide guidance & support to other team members, internal customers & other operations groups (ie MSC, RNOC & ATS).
• Perform all responsibilities without assistance & with minimal or no supervision.
