Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
This resource will be responsible for building and maintaining the Intranet and Extranet SharePoint Farms.
The following job responsibilities would apply to this position:
Execute SharePoint solution deployments and provide operational support for the portfolio of SharePoint applications.
Provide technical assistance for solution and feature installation strategies to address performance issues and general platform problem analysis.
Perform backup, restore, install hot fixes, service packs and upgrade tasks.
Establishing and maintaining end user access policies and permissions.
Configure and maintain SharePoint Enterprise Search, index configurations, scheduling & optimizing content crawling.
In conjunction with SharePoint Architects, identify key hardware and system platform requirements for Extranet, Intranet, and enterprise-wide SharePoint applications.
Configuring, installing SharePoint 2010.
Perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards.
Develops estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget.
Conducts research, advises on new SharePoint platform features and evaluates alternative solution alternatives with platform implications.
Effectively work independently as well as with teams of internal
Qualifications:
3+ years Farm Administration experience with SharePoint 2007 or SharePoint 2010 (preferred)
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) for SharePoint Server or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) for SharePoint Server certification
Experience with SQL Server 2008 administration
Experience performing SharePoint administration activities via PowerShell and STSADM Scripting
Experience with AD integration and security related functions
Experience with SharePoint Farm Administration of a Multi-Tenancy configuration desired
Experience leveraging Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) in a SharePoint environment for user profile/Active Directory synchronization desired
Experience leveraging Unified Access Gateway (UAG) in a SharePoint Extranet environment desired
Understands role in the Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Information Technology or related discipline
Estimated Travel - potential of one overnight per month
Estimate an annual average of 5 to 10% overtime. Overtime will be required in order to meet critical deadlines.
