Description
We are looking for a Financial Analyst for one of the leading bank in The Netherlands.
The Financial Analyst will provide reporting and analysis of the profit and loss account, balance sheet and management reports for management and the consolidation statements for the Group in order to provide insight into financial performance of this bank.
Core activities
The Financial Analyst will coordinate the activities of employees in accordance with the applicable guidelines for the department to achieve the progress and quality of service.
He/she will be responsible for compiling, reporting and analysing the profit and loss account and balance sheet aimed at providing financial information to the management.
He/she will detect and analyse data on relevant developments, financial processes and administrative laws and regulations focused on solicited and unsolicited providing accounting advice.
The Financial Analyst takes part in projects on streamlining accounting processes and/or implementation of laws and regulations aimed at provision of expertise.
He/she is responsible for managing of manuals and (steering) tables so that the continuity of information of serving businesses and the bank guaranteed.
Business knowledge
-Knowledge of business economics at university level with 1-3 years' experience.
-Knowledge of financial accounting, social and economic developments
-Knowledge of policy related administrative and operational organisation of the bank and its own focus, procedures and systems within their own focus and products offered by Finance and services.
-Consults with his supervisor about progress and results of operations and focus on increasing items.
-Consults and advises managers and other stakeholders of the research (including controllers of the various Value and Service Centres) with respect to financial and business issues.
- Consults with Group Finance to explain the consolidation set.
Skills
- Good knowledge of IFRS accounting
- Knowledge of DNB Reports (SE/BE Reports)
- Knowledge of Microsoft excels/access
- Validation/analysis figures
- Create and analyse reports
- Fluent English
