Senior Process Engineer required
Hourly Rate £75.00
Job scope:
Execute studies in line with company expectations for delivery, quality and innovation
Provide technical input during the course of the study both internally and during interactions with client
Ensure the study manager is kept adequately informed of study technical progress, and is informed, at the earliest available opportunity, of any technical or schedule issues
Must have: 4 years experience, proficient on Hysys, experience of design/specification of major equipment items (separators, compressors, pumps), experience of design of pressure relief and blowdown facilities, preparation of PFD's, P&ID's. Good report writing and presentation skills
Nice to have: Experience of OLGA/Pipesim software, chartered engineer
Main accountabilities:
Preparation/checking of calculations and study deliverables
Preparation of technical notes
Monitoring of individual progress/manhours
Additional information:
senior process engineer must have good technical understanding of process engineering design and operation issues to allow calculations to be carried out in a timely manner. They should have sufficient competency to check others work, challenge others understanding/assumptions and discuss concerns with their study manager/technical lead. Report writing must be of a standard where technical issues can be described coherently.
