We are currently looking to find a skilled Computer Operator to join our team!

6 Month-Contract
$17.00/hr
3rd Shift,
12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon-Tue.

The Computer Operator will demonstrate an ability to interface and consult with all levels of Management and interface with Customer contacts, as a Strategic Business Partner. Each has a proven history of generating outstanding business results.

1. The Computer Operator will monitoring computer system consoles across a multiple platform environment, which includes SAP, EDW, BW,100 + Unix systems, multi vendor disk subsystems and several remote sites.

2. Candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective action, some hardware replacement and batch job scheduling, along with providing onsite support for the System Administration groups.

3. Responsible for overall activities of both the LAN/Server Rooms. This includes but is not limited to the monitoring/observing the following systems for system performance, application batch processing, batch reruns, hardware failures backup and restores of these systems.

Required Skills and Education Requirements:

Must have experience with Tivoli or ATX Schedulers and/or HP Openview.

Requires demonstratable experience and proficiency in operations of the following systems:

Tivoli or ATX scheduling system is a MUST
HP Openview
HP UNIX, IBM AIX, Sun Microsystems UNIX
Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suites and other Intel based software.
Requires proficiency in troubleshooting and resolution of problems.
Excellent communication, team player and leadership skills are mandated.
Attire is business casual.
