Front End Developer

Our client, one of Australia's leading media organisations, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Front End developer to work on a brand new project. The role will be based in the CBD and will be for a fixed term period of 12 months.

Your main responsibilities in this role will include;

• develop interfaces and views for desktops, tablets, mobile and interactive white boards
• work closely with a team of producers, information architect/user experience specialist, visual designers and Back End developers within an Agile development environment
• liaise with Back End developers to integrate, test and debug Front End functionality
• provide regular status updates and feedback on progress to producers and project managers as required

To be considered for this role you will need;

• tertiary qualifications in a computing related field and/or at least 5 years industry experience
• superior HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• industry experience working on Front End development for enterprise-grade applications in Java environments
• ability to collaborate effectively using well-developed interpersonal, strong verbal and written communication skills
