Description
Join a leading international Oil & Gas Operator working in Asia on a long-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Instrument & Controls Engineer to further their career. The role will be working on either a residential or rotational basis and calls for an engineer experienced with onshore LNG projects and knowledge of instrument design including ICSS systems.The position will involve:
- Utilising detailed understanding and knowledge of Instrument & Control Systems engineering design, utilising knowledge and experience to specificy I&C specifications and equipment
- Preparing technical reports and presentations as necessary
- Producing all work in compliance with project specifications and industry standards and regulations
- Conducting Inspection and Factory Acceptance Tests of I&C systems
- Planning technical discipline reviews as necessary
- Ensuring project deliverables are achieved in accordance with project budgets and time constraints
- Directing EPC Contractor teams to meet project requirements and reviewing progress of work
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Degree qualifications in Electrical or Instrument Engineering
- Over 10 years of engineering experience on Onshore LNG and Oil & Gas processing facilities
- Experience working for an owner/operator team in collaboration with Contractor teams
- Commitment to health and safety requirements and understanding of Australian Safety Case requirements
- Excellent skills teamwork and communication
