The Organisation:
A national service provider is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to assist them with the collection of outstanding payments. This three month role has scope to go permanent for the right person. Based in the western suburbs, this organisation is easy to reach by public transport.
The Position:
Reporting to the Credit Manager, this credit control position will involve identifying outstanding payments and contacting customers by phone, email and letter to ensure arrangements for payments are in effect. Some customers are based overseas and can be difficult to contact. This is a critical role that will have you acting as a key ambassador to our client's customers. Your ability to manage existing relationships while still generating results will be paramount.
Your Profile:
To truly thrive in this challenging and busy role, you will need to demonstrate prior credit control experience for a large organisation as well as an ability to work well autonomously. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills will be paramount if you are to communicate clearly and concisely with customers. You should also have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport easily with people. Being self-motivated and highly results driven will keep you motivated and stimulated in this position. Experience on an ERP system will be highly regarded but is not essential.
