Description
The correct candidate must have stand alone international procurement experience and has conducted market analysis within the countries mentioned below. They are used to delivering on their own however be comfortable working within a remote team. Experience involving Rate Reduction Projects would also be a distinct advantage. The role is home based however you will be required to travel extensively as part of the role (approx 50%).
Criteria:
* Needs to have a Procurement background,
* Logistics knowledge is helpful but not essential
* Languages (Ideally Southern European - Italian/Spanish)
* Needs to have experience of local markets
* Professional Purchaser
* International Procurement Market Analysis by Country
* SPL for Service Part Logistics and is part of Supply Chain
* We purchase logistics services in house or with 3rd party providers were the business is not market competitive (manhr rates - KM rates - M2 space - etc)
* Local markets are for now: UK, France, Spain, Italia, Austria, United Arab Emirates, France, and Switzerland.
* Main job will be for countries where we feel we (the business) are not really market competitive. market analysis will be initially required in each area with an objective to negotiate new rates
