Our client is a financial services company with offices in Hertfordshire. Based near Watford, they are looking for a Finance Manager to lead on providing commercial decision support to their bids, business development and product development teams in order to drive the business forward.

The role is to:
Manage a team of 2 (one remotely); Interface with Bid and proposition development teams, both in support and constructive challenge; Interface with central finance teams, both in terms of providing information and also securing specialist advice (tax etc); Finance support and partnership for all business development, customer pricing and product development activity; Financial modelling for business development, new business/renewal activity and product development and other non-customer focused activity; Liaison with tax advisers and the finance control team on tax matters relating to new business and other activity; Assistance with Mergers and Acquisitions as required. The role would suit a Qualified Accountant with substantial experience working with bids and acquisitions, ideally within a Financial Services environment.
