SAP BO Expert needed!
Starting August months with the possibility of extension)
The consultant will work under the supervision of the BICC (Business Intelligence CompetenceCentre) Manager and Supply Chain KPIs project delivery manager in close coordination with
the BO-Team expert, as part of Corporate, Self Service Reporting and of the one truth
initiative. The overall goal is to get unique information that is reusable and everywhere the same,
specifically for the key project Supply Chain KPIs Dashboard, which will setup a future strategy
for Dashboard implementation in the organization.
The systems used are SAP Business Object 4.0 connected to SAP Business Warehouse 7.01.
Most of the BO Universes are based on SAP BW BEx queries, and other SQL databases. At the
moment this TOR is written the upgrade to SAP Business Object 4.0 is in progress and the plan
go-live is August 2012.
The main focuses are:
Working in Supply Chain KPIs project to implement various types of Dashboards, using SAP Business Object 4.0 with SharePoint integration Kit
Working as part of BICC Maintenance team (as backfilling)
The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
Collect Dashboard requirements, analyse, design, implementation, user acceptance testing for SCM KPIs project, using various SAP Business Object 4.0 tools
Working closely with SharePoint expert for integration SAP BO 4.0 and SharePoint.
Technical assessment and strategy of implementation for dashboard requirements using various SAP Business Object 4.0 tools: Web Intelligence (WebI), BO Dashboard, Analysis edition for OLAP, Explorer, and integration with SharePoint.
Work independently to provide Best Practice and future guidelines for
- SAP Business Object Dashboard design and implementation
- SAP Business Object tools selection for different types of requirements
- Integration and usage of SAP Business Object 4.0 new tools
Datamodelling for universes (both for MDX and BICS connections), BO reports, and BO
Dashboard
Give support to SSO (Single Sign On) implementation
Functional and Technical Documentations
Working as part of BICC Maintenance team (as backfilling): maintenance of existing BO reports, Universes, Web Services, and other smaller projects, this may include:
- Analyse and collect requirements
- Fit/gap analysis to existing universes/reports and propose solution for enhancement/new development
- Implement solution and test pilot
- Write test scripts
- Functional and technical documentation
- User acceptance test
Hand over and Maintenance
Further assessment of new SAP Business Object 4.0 functionalities:
Geographical display of data
Mobile on iPad
Collaborate and provide feedback to SAP Business Warehouse team
Work on demand on tasks assigned
Experience:
Experience in several life cycle of SAP Business Object 4.0 Dashboard implementation (or BO Xcelsius in previous SAP BO version)
Expert for different areas of SAP Business Object 4.0
o Expert in SAP Business Object 4.0 Dashboard and Web Intelligence
o Minimum 6 years experience in SAP Business Object Business Intelligence solution
o Knowledge (or Expert) in other SAP Business Object 4.0 additional tools

Knowledgeable in SAP Business Object 4.0 integration with SAP Business Warehouse
