Flight Physics - Flight Test - handling and performance - Fixed wing and helicopter
A Flight Physics Engineer is required to support the flight physics team on test and evaluation of rotary aircraft and the provision of specialist flight physics technical advice and consultation.
Due to the nature of the work this role requires the successful candidate to hold full SC Clearance prior to starting.
The successful candidate will be familiar with systems engineering principals and risk based reporting methodologies. You must hold practitioner level competencies in helicopter or fixed wing handling and performance. (ie can work unsupervised immediately), and practitioner level competencies in technical document review and collation in order to produce and sentence a hazard log.
Will also be experienced Flight Test Practitioner with a track record in leading multidisciplinary flight test programmes and capable of obtaining Air Division Trials Competency Level 2 immediately.
You must also have experience of some of the following from aircraft handling, stability and control, flight controls systems, trials management.
