Accountabilities
- Final configuration of IP VPN networks:
- Prepare configuration templates with given data in Order management Systems
- Apply configuration on Customer Routers and Access Routers
- Service Activation for IP and VoIP products - Proactively calling the technical customer contact for acceptance testing
- Do acceptance testing with customer
- Manage and coordinate related tasks assigned to other support units in which involvement is needed to manage Service installation
- Maintain a clear and accurate record of events throughout order live time utilising Order Management Systems
- Provide a technical interface to customers whenever efficient Service Activation requires so - Perform technical audits and analyse customer networks
- Provide technical concept/action plan how to proceed after analysis
- Implement config upgrades to apply latest engineering concepts - Support bulk infrastructure changes/Provider migrations - Create Work instructions for IP Config changes to prepare bulk changes - Implement bulk configuration changes for Services to be migrated to new platform - Propose/implement workaround solutions in case Bespoke solution does not work - Implement design changes to deliver part of the Service in case some comments are delayed/do not work - Provide technical pre-sales support

- Readiness to work in special shift working pattern with extended business hours in 1 out of 8 weeks Experience
- Excellent understanding of IP, VoIP products and services
- A demonstrable understanding/experience in TDM services and Networks
- In-depth working knowledge of IP Networking technologies and routing protocols, including: Static routing, NAT, PAT and ACL's, Dynamic routing protocols OSPF, RIP, BGP and redistribution, Radius, PPP, Ethernet, HSRP Backup Solutions, Load balancing techniques
- Good understanding of IP VPN technologies such as MPLS, IP Sec
- Configuration of traffic prioritisation technologies such as QoS/CoS
- In-depth knowledge of ATM technologies: PRI and BRI ISDN configuration, Service Classes, VCI/VPI
- Knowledge of the Managed Network and Internet services supported by the IP and ATM networks
- 3G solutions
- Expertise in Juniper (ISG2000, ERX-1400, JunOS), Cisco (Routers, Switches, ASR, IOS-XR), Huawei (Routers, Switches), Ipanema, Sonus, F5 (Big-IP),
- Experience of one or more of the following IP Network Management and support systems: SMARTS, CiscoWorks, InfoVista, TACACS
- Experience of trouble-shooting tools such as Telnet, FTP, TFTP and Traceroute
- Experienced of working with vendors, NOC and Fields operators for technical issues
- Operational experience of high capacity IP Networks and LAN/WAN technologies including - POS, SDH, GigabitEthernet, ATM and DPT
