System Engineer Middleware
As System Engineer you will be working in the 'application hosting' team which is part of our clients IT infrastructure department. This department is responsible for the preparation of important infrastructure components for financial communications of the bank
Function
You will be responsible for maintaining the financial communications infrastructure. The communication between applications is done both through files and messages.
In this context, your tasks are the following:
- Troubleshooting transmission problems
- coordination and realization of installations and reinstallation software and material
- Control and monitoring of the different systems
- Training and documentation of the procedures and IT systems
- you will work together with system engineering on a architect level
- You will follow the security procedures
Experience
- Engineer or Master in ICT or Informatics
- Knowledge of Windows 2008 and Unix is a must
- Knowledge in solutions of transfers of files ( Axway Synchrony) or "messaging" WebSphere MQ solutions
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch and good knowledge of English
