My client, an NHS Trust, is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Estates Operations Manager for a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will assume the following responsibilities as M&E Estates Operations Manager:

*Manage an M&E maintenance team (including Supervisors) carrying out reactive and PPM work.
*Manage specialist contractors - monitoring value for money.
*Implementation of a maintenance performance monitoring system.
*Carry out performance and quality checks/audits.
*Performance manage poorly performing staff and contractors.
*Assist a Maintenance Planning Engineer in the Operational aspects of the Implementation of a new Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) package.

To be successful you will need:

*to be an experienced, determined individual with strong management skills.
*A background in Building Services
*demonstrable NHS operational estates maintenance experience,
*excellent people management & performance management skills,
*able to develop and implement operational processes and procedures
*an understanding of working to KPI's.
*Knowledge/experience of Planet CAFM system or similar.
*Auditing experience/skills
