An exciting opportunity has just been released by one of Irelands fastest growing Oracle Consultancies. I have the pleasure of representing this client in their pursuit of hiring an Oracle Techno/Functional (R12 Financial and Order management) consultant for a permanent opportunity in Cork. A huge feature of this role is that there will be little or no travel unlike other consultancy positions. Due to the location I am looking for local talent to Belfast or individuals that will move and settle in Ireland (Cork).
Oracle E-business Techno/Functional Consultant
- Provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for projects and tasks
- Gather and document business requirements on IT projects
- Document and manage business process flows charts
- Provide hands-on functional & configuration support for applications in areas including Finance, Order management and HR
- Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through consensus-building
- Ensure ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes
- Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction
- Provide hands on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post implementation support
- Configure applications based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices
- Promote user adoption by preparing training documentation and conduct training sessions for business users
- Build test cases & manage User Acceptance tests
- Assist with risk management and change management on project
- Create ad-hoc reports, queries and data extracts as requested
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 modules ideal;
- Strong business acumen and working knowledge of financial processes in AP, AR, GL, FA, CM,HR, Projects AND OR.
- Order Management in Supply chain, INV,BOM etc.
- Oracle Ver.7.3, 8.0, 8i, 9i, 10g (SQL, PL/SQL), Developer 2000 Forms 5 and 6i, 9i, 10g and Reports 6i, 9i, 10g
- Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects is required.
- Experience in software development life cycle processes and methodologies on multiple projects.
