Description
Our client is a hugely popular computer components company seeking a resource to support one of their portal and tool applications by developing feature enhancements based off of requirements gathered from web site stakeholders. This resource will be utilized in the development/deployment of a new hardware performance tool which will be supporting company product. S/He is expected to have the ability to test, validate and peer review other developers' work to help facilitate an effective development cycle within the group.
OVERVIEW:
- Involved in some new application development, development, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, review, analysis, modifications and documentation to improve automation components and processes for greater flexibility and performance.
- Support the deployment of the tool to live environments, including maintaining source and data branches in version control, and debugging issues related to deployment.
- Maintain and enhance tool applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years related work experience
- Experience with Microsoft .NET
- Experience with C#
- Experience developing database-based application, with intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server Transact SQL programming preferred (especially SQL Server 2005)
- Experience with ASP.NET and web development (HTML, JavaScript, etc.) in general
- Experience working with XML, windows and web services and MSMQ preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
