The Organisation:This global market leader is renowned as being a key business services provider to the resources, defence, manufacturing and energy industry. Working as a Financial Accountant, you would be supported by an extremely knowledgeable Manager, Financial Reporting who will not only be able to challenge you but help you build on your existing skills. Due to the reporting requirements of this organisation, you will be working to tight deadlines in a busy and challenging role.
The Position:
The role will be responsible for supporting the Manager of Financial Reporting with the preparation of statutory returns. You will also be working closely with the accounts team to prepare month-end accounts, comprehensive cash flow forecasts and profit and loss analysis. You will also be able to support them with some tax compliance work and various ad hoc project based work.
Your Profile:
To be considered for this role it is imperative that you are CPA or CA qualified and you should be able to demonstrate sound Financial Accounting experience in large, listed Australian organisations with extensive statutory reporting experience. Experience on large ERP systems such as SAP will be highly advantageous.
