Our client is currently recruiting for a IT Business Analyst to be based in Perth reporting to the Senior Business Analyst in the Enterprise IT Portfolio. The primary function of this Fixed Term Employment position is to gather and validate requirements for the implementation of, or changes to, business processes and information systems across operations and corporate services for Australia.
Job Description:
Provision of business analysis services in accordance with the Client Solution Development Process
Identify and document business and systems processes, user requirements and possible solutions to meet business requirements
Conduct stakeholder workshops to elicit requirements
Facilitate project stakeholders through the system selection and implementation process
Follow the Solution Development Process methodologies
Participate as team member on project teams and contribute to the successful architecture, design and delivery of information systems
Contribute to the Custodian of the client requirements management solution and methodology.
Job Requirement:
Business process modelling experience in a large national or multinational organization preferably in the mining and resources industry
Strong understanding of modern requirements capture and visual modelling tools and techniques, including but not limited to: use cases, business scenario analysis, Archimate, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Requirements Management (HP Quality Centre or ALM11)
Strong demonstrated experience facilitating workshops
Demonstrate professional excellence when translating business requirements into technical specification
Test management or systems testing experience would be an advantage
Ability to work independently and in a cross-team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
