OSS/BSS Consultant

Description

Eirtech's client, the Professional Services Division of a global network infrastructure provider, is delivering a series of Network Modernisation projects which will require infrastructure modifications to end customer networks and associated OSS/BSS enhancements. The Consultant will be expected to be hands-on and travel where required to customer locations throughout EMEA and interface with multiple levels within the end-customer organisations. Knowledge of eTOM and associated business process framework ( Frameworx ) is required along with an ability to lead Solutions Architecture/Design and Systems Integration activities across different functional areas. Specific areas of interest are the integration of an Inventory Management System ( IMS ) and Workflow Generation as part of an overall process re-engineering exercise within the Fulfillment and Assurance eTOM areas. A knowledge of the process interfaces and overlaps between eTOM and ITIL is also desirable. Good commuications skills are essential as well as an understanding of both the technical and business impact of the OSS/BSS enhancements.
