My client is a market leading Defence and Security Company and they are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a 3-6 month contract based in Oakley.

- Working closely with the Product Assurance Assessors, provide Solutions from concept to completion that address any CE marking non-compliances.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Perform detailed calculations (Stress Analysis) to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Essential skills are...
- Electrical Design background (inc CAD)
- Solidworks
- Substantial experience in Electro Mechanical designs including PCB's, Control panels and labelling
Any experience of Electrical & Mechanical (Stress Analysis), 2012 Solidworks or Simulators would be beneficial.
