Position: SAP Basis Consultant
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Eindhoven, NL
Job Description:
- 4+ years experience of SAP Basis;
- has experience with the patching process of SAP
- has done several technical trainings connecting the different modules and/or technologies;
- is familiar with the SAP Authorizations concept (user & role management);
- is familiar with the security concepts within SAP (secure SAP gateway, security measures for external commands, message server & HTTP)
- is familiar with the implementation process of SAP OSS notes;
Process knowledge:
- Knowledge about patch management and vulnerability management processes
- Knowledge about the business processes to a level that is required to assess the risk & impact of both the vulnerabilities and the offered solutions.
Responsibility:
- Lead patch management process
- Lead vulnerability management process
- Lead virus scanning & detection process
- Regular report progress to IT management & business
- Act as a bridge between all stakeholders in the process:
- IT Delivery
- Infrastructure & Operations team
- Service Providers
- Development teams
- SRCQ
- Business
- Report and/or escalate roadblocks if any
- Timely ICS execution
- Participate in both internal and external audits
- Participate in internal or external improvements projects
- Actively participate in compliancy activities
- Act as a subject matter expert for security
- Responsible for contributing to standards, concepts, guidelines & procedures related to security
- Safeguard and promote the global one way of working concept for security & compliance
