Description
An exciting opportunity is currently available in Brussels for an English and French speaking Software Architect. This position is located in an EU institution through an IT Service Provider
The successful applicant will amongst other tasks be responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the client's Atlassian Confluence wiki and Jira as well as being heavily involved in varying aspects of information systems technical architectures and supporting infrastructures.
Specific requirements:
- Excellent Java, J2EE and SQL knowledge and experience
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Java Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate & Eclipse
- Proven experience in the interoperability domain based upon the Web services standards
- Familiarity with UML
- Experience with web technologies other than Java (PHP, etc )
- Knowledge of JEE, Perl, Linux, Tomcat, MySQL, Postgres, Atlassian Products and Integration, Hyperic, ControlTier, Nexus, SVN, ECAS, Linux XEN, Apache, Nexus, Maven
Language requirements:
- Excellent English and French (oral and written)
