Manufacturing Process EngineerContract Duration: 6 months
Location: Blackpool, England
Rate: Up to 26 per hour
Position Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
* Experience of maintenance schedule review and setting up of tasks, use of RCM (would be an advantage) FMECA studies (advantage)
* Understanding of maintenance activities such as spares systems, CI, CMMS systems, criticality analysis
* Process review and optimisation of specified process area/s
* Initiation/completion of deviations, remedial actions, CAPA ' s and other quality system documentation
* Validation effort for existing and new processes
* Application of world class manufacturing tools and techniques with process areas
* Problem identification and resolution to root cause
* To follow and promote Company, HS&E and Quality standards to enable the site to achieve and maintain excellent results
* Driving teams to deliver output
Non-Essential Functions:
* To liaise with outside contractors whilst leading projects from conception to commissioning and handover
* To ensure that processes are robust and as efficient and effective as possible.
Experience
Skills and Abilities (Can Do Criteria):
* Technical degree in related position (Engineering/Science)
* Must be highly computer literate
* Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role or position, ideally as a mechanical or electrical engineer
Personal Traits (Will Do Criteria):
* Have the ability to communicate effectively within their team and with internal customers
* To energetically work with the minimum of supervision
* There will on occasion be the need to work outside contractual hours to enable project delivery and on occasion work away from the usual place of work
* Be a team player and drive for continual improvement
* Be an excellent problem solver and provide involvement in improvement teams
